Accommodation

The Snug self-catering is fitted to a high, modern standard, while retaining a truly cosy atmosphere. Accommodation consists of a bright open-plan living space with fitted kitchen and sitting area upstairs, and large double bedroom and bathroom downstairs. It is fully double-glazed and has central heating.

Pets are welcome - but by prior arrangement only, thank you (we are able to provide a fully insured and experienced pet-sitting service should you wish a day or evening out without your pet. For details please see: dog-sitting). Please note, there is no smoking in the house.

If you are planning to attend a course at the Professional Diving Academy in Dunoon, just let us know, as we are happy to provide discounted rates for long stays.

Living area

Situated on the upper floor, the bright open-plan living area has exposed wooden floorboards and a ‘Paris balcony’ providing views of an ever-changing seascape. There’s a sofa-bed here, comfortably big enough to sleep an extra person. This is a relaxing space to unwind with a good book or an old-fashioned board game (you’ll find plenty of both on the bookshelves), or to simply curl up in front of the Freesat TV or DVD player with a glass of wine in hand.

Kitchen/dining area

With all the mod-cons and extra touches you’d expect in a modern little hideaway, including: fridge, washing machine, electric cooker and hob, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and stereo. All crockery, cutlery, glasses, utensils, pots and pans, washing-up liquid/cloths and tea-towels are provided. There is also a pine dining table with seating for four.

Bedroom

The bedroom is on the ground floor, and is lovely and spacious with a comfortable double bed, plenty of pillows and cosy blankets to snuggle up under on a winter’s night. There is also a large wardrobe, dressing table and room for a cot.

Bathroom

Just along the hall from the bedroom is the fully-tiled bathroom. Here you can enjoy a relaxing bath (especially welcome on one of our ‘rare’ wet Scottish days!). There is also an over-bath shower, wash basin, heated towel rail and electric shaver point.

All linen, towels and dish cloths are provided; electricity and gas are included in the tariff.
