Innellan Cottages

Location

The Snug and Coach House Cottage are just over an hour from Glasgow, yet they feel like a world away. Located in a quiet lane, in the small village of Innellan, just 4 miles south of the popular tourist town of Dunoon, the cottages are easily reached from Glasgow by road or ferry. Calmac Ferries offer a foot-passenger only service from Gourock to Dunoon. Western Ferries operate a regular car service from Greenock and discounted tickets can be purchased in advance from their website. A longer, but stunning, alternative route is to take the A82 north of Glasgow as far as Tarbet, followed by the A83 over the ‘Rest and be Thankful’ pass, and then south on the A815 along the shores of Loch Fyne and Loch Eck to Dunoon. Once in Dunoon, the A815 is followed for 4 miles to Innellan. 1 mile after The Lido village shop, turn right up Trinity Lane and The Snug and Coach House Cottage are on the right after 20 metres. Parking: Coach House Cottage has a small parking space, suitable for one small car. The Snug doesn’t have a parking space, but guests can use the large well-lit layby at the foot of Trinity Lane (approx 20 metres from the cottage).
Innellan Beach Only a moment’s stroll from The Snug & Coach House Cottage, Innellan beach is a wonderful pebbly shoreline with fantastic views over the Clyde and towards the mountains of Arran.
Ferry to Dunoon Coming from Dunoon, Trinity Lane is on the right, just after the layby & before the Tennis Club
